Castle Theatre Company returns to the Edinburgh Fringe in August 2006 with Young Macbeth.

This new work marks Castle Theatre Company’s return to the Fringe after critical acclaim in 2004 (“This is what all Fringe theatre ought to be like” - Three Weeks). This new adaptation of Shakespeare’s classic takes his characters and bleeds them dry, confronting the violent passion of today’s 20-somethings like no Shakespeare has before. Using elements of dance, postmodern choral music and stage combat, Young Macbeth takes Shakespeare’s verse and thrusts its disturbing relevance in front of your eyes for 60 minutes of unforgettable theatre.

Performing at C too (Venue 4) at 1 pm, 13-28th August.
